Paula Montero is Professor of Anthropology at the State University of São Paulo (USP – Brazil) and a Senior Researcher at the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (Cebrap). She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of São Paulo. Previously, she was a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Latin American and Iberian Studies at Columbia University and a visiting Professor at the University of Chicago. Prof Montero is a co-investigator in the Social Repair and the Nonreligion in a Complex Future projects (Ottawa University). Her research interests are focused on the interface between religion, law, and pluralism.
