From August 18th to November 10th, Dr Guilherme Borges will begin teaching a course at the University of São Paulo on the concept of deep equality. More specifically, this course will address the applicability of this concept to investigate the Brazilian social reality.
The North-South research project “Repairing sociality, safeguarding democracy: trans-Atlantic North-South narratives and practices of deep equality” spans four different democracies: South Africa, Brazil, Canada and the United Kingdom. It is funded with a competitive three-year grant from the Trans-Atlantic Platform (TAP) on Democracy, Governance and Trust (TAP-DGT).
