Adriano Godoy holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Brazilian Centre for Analysis and planning (CEBRAP), where he is a member of the Research Group on Religions in the Contemporary World and of the project “Religious Pluralism and Diversities in Post-Constitutional Brazil”. Previously, he was a visiting researcher at Leiden University (Netherlands), Utrecht University (Netherlands), and the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). His research interests lie at the intersections of religion, ecology, ethnicity and aesthetics.
