Bheki R. Mngomezulu is a Full Professor of Political Science and International Relations and Director of the Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy (CANRAD) at Nelson Mandela University. He holds seven academic degrees in education, political science, and history from three South African universities and Rice University in America. Professor Mngomezulu has published seven books, several book chapters and journal articles. He was a Visiting Professor in Romania and Sweden and was recently a keynote speaker at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. His research interests include higher education, African comparative politics, International Relations, identity politics and traditional leadership.
